PDF to CAD Conversion Services
Scanned plans, PDFs and old blueprints, redrawn by CAD technicians as accurate, layered DWG files you can edit straight away, not auto-traced noise.
Turn Locked Drawings Into Working Files
Renovation, extension and redevelopment projects almost always begin with drawings nobody can edit: a PDF from another consultant, a scanned set from the building department, a folded blueprint from the 1980s. Redrawing them in-house is tedious and slow, and the automated converters that promise one-click results deliver fragmented lines, text broken into strokes and no usable layers. You lose more time cleaning the output than you saved.
Our PDF to CAD conversion services do the job properly. Experienced CAD technicians redraw every sheet over the source image, set the correct scale, and rebuild walls, lines, text, dimensions and symbols as clean native objects on logical layers. You get a DWG your team can build on immediately, and an accurate base for design, permitting or facility management.
What We Deliver
Architectural Plans to CAD
Floor plans, elevations and sections from PDFs and scans, ready for renovation and fit-out design.
Survey and Plat Conversion
Recorded plats, old surveys and deeds sketches redrawn with bearings, distances, curve data and text.
Civil and Utility Drawings
As-built utility plans, site plans and road drawings converted into layered CAD bases.
Raster and Sketch to Vector
TIFF, JPG, scanned maps and hand sketches vectorised manually, with optional georeferencing for GIS use.
Point Cloud to CAD Services
Laser scan, LiDAR and drone point clouds turned into 2D plans, elevations, sections and topographic linework in AutoCAD, Civil 3D or Revit.
Batch and Archive Conversion
Drawing archives converted with consistent layers, naming and title blocks across hundreds of sheets.
Software We Use
Conversions are drafted natively in AutoCAD, or in Revit, Civil 3D or MicroStation when the converted drawing feeds into one of those workflows. You receive DWG by default, or DXF, DGN or RVT on request.
Manual Redrawing vs Auto-Conversion
Here is what you get from a manual conversion that you will not get from software:
- True lines, arcs and polylines instead of thousands of fragments
- Editable text and dimensions, not exploded strokes
- Layers, blocks and hatches organised to your standard
- Correct scale verified against written dimensions
- Illegible or conflicting dimensions flagged for you
Our PDF to CAD Conversion Process
Upload source files
PDF, TIFF, JPG or scans, plus your template if you have one.
Review and quote
We check legibility and scale references and give a fixed price per sheet.
Redraw to scale
Technicians rebuild geometry, text and dimensions on clean layers.
Overlay QA
The new DWG is overlaid on the source to check alignment before delivery.
Turnaround and Quotes
Single sheets and small sets are usually converted overnight. Batch and archive work is scheduled after a pilot sheet is approved, with regular deliveries during the project. Conversion is priced per sheet, based on drawing size, density and source quality, and quoted before any work starts.
Get a Fixed Quote
Send your files and we confirm scope, price and delivery time before any work starts. No surprises.
