Measured Building Survey CAD Drafting
Floor plans, elevations and sections drafted from your point cloud or site measurements, in AutoCAD or Revit. Accurate existing drawings for refurbishment, lease plans and planning applications, typically returned by the next working day.
Turn Site Data Into Accurate Existing Drawings, Fast
A measured building survey is only as useful as the drawings that come out of it. Scanning a building takes a day; turning millions of points into clean floor plans, elevations and sections can take a week of a technician's time. For survey practices, architects and property consultants, that draughting work is what holds up the project, from refurbishment design to planning submissions.
Our measured building survey CAD service handles that work for you. Send the point cloud, total station data or measured sketches, and our draughting team produces the drawings in your template, to the level of detail your brief sets. We also offer floor plan drawing services for lease, sales and space-planning purposes, and planning drawings services for UK applications once the design is fixed.

What We Deliver
Existing-condition drawings and models, at the scale and detail your brief requires.
Floor Plans
Dimensioned floor plans with walls, openings, door swings, stairs, fixtures, room names and floor levels, typically at 1:50 or 1:100.
Elevations
External and internal elevations showing openings, materials, levels, roof lines and features, drawn from scan data or measured photographs.
Sections
Building sections through key areas with floor-to-ceiling heights, structure, stairs and roof build-up.
Roof and Ceiling Plans
Roof plans with pitches, ridges and gutters, and reflected ceiling plans with ceiling heights, bulkheads and fittings.
Planning Drawings
Existing and proposed plans and elevations, site location and block plans, prepared from the survey base and your design.
Revit Models from Point Clouds
Existing-building Revit models built from laser scans at the level of detail you specify, with sheets generated from the model.
Software We Use
We work natively in the platform your practice uses. Point clouds are indexed in Autodesk ReCap and referenced into AutoCAD or Revit, so the drawings are traced directly from the scan rather than estimated. MicroStation deliverables are available where a client requires DGN files.
Drawn to Your Standards and Your Specification
Every practice has its own look. We set up your title block, layers, line weights, colours, hatches and annotation before the first job, and draught to the specification your project requires, such as RICS-aligned measured survey specifications or a client's CAD and BIM manual.
- Metric dimensions and levels in millimetres and metres
- Level of detail agreed before drafting starts
- Consistent annotation in UK English across every sheet
